LAPAROSCOPY ¿WHAT IS IT?

It is a clinical procedure that allows the gynecologist to see the inside of the uterus through an endoscopy. This procedure can be performed for diagnostic purposes or for treatment of intrauterine pathologies and as a method of surgical intervention.

Examples:

– Take a tissue sample (biopsy)
– Remove polyps or fibroids
– Correction of uterine genetic malformations
– Endometrial ablation for abnormal uterine bleeding
